Barcelona Beach Spain

Barcelona Baech
Barcelona's beaches open again in March 2012. Barcelona's beaches are a major attraction of the city and last year Barcelona was named the best beach city in the world by National Geographic magazine. From the city centre of Barcelona it takes about 10-20 minutes by public transport to get down to the Mediterranean sea and the nine beaches.

Barcelona is the capital of the autonomous region of Catalonia (Catalunya), one of 17 such in modern Spain. While there is a central Government dealing with such matters as defence and diplomatic relations, Catalonia manages most of its internal affairs including health, transport, education, security, agriculture and public administration as provided for in the Spanish Constitution.
Below are links to pages with practical information you’ll need to move around the city comfortably, avoid the persistent pickpockets, buy discount cards, read about places of interest and more.

Tourist Attractions in Barcelona :

  • Sagrada Família
  • La Rambla
  • Güell Park
  • La Seu Cathedral
  • Magic Fountain
  • Arc de Triomf
  • Torre Agbar

Nice Sharing friend. Spain has various destinations for visiting. It has many beautiful cities to enjoy the holidays. I visit in Spain before my yosemite bus tours with my business partner. I mostly like Valencia, Cordoba, Salamanca and Granada are the most visiting cities in this country.
